Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or case number entered in a search tool is sent directly to the third-party company that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its result. Jefferson County Court Docket does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email sent to us may be retained so a response can be prepared and the exchange can be tracked. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, the server may automatically record technical information about that visit:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files stored on a device. They help show how visitors move through the site, including popular pages and common exit points. Analytics providers combine that traffic into reports. Browser controls can block cookies, though doing so may alter how some features work.
What We Do With This Data
- Keeping the site up, running, and loading quickly
- Sending your search requests to the right partner service
- Figuring out which pages people find useful and which need work
- Tracking down and fixing technical issues
- Showing ads that may line up with your interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Jefferson County Court Docket does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of court dockets or personal case information. It publishes general directions to Search ARCourts, the Jefferson County Circuit Clerk, District Court departments, and other official record custodians. Visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party case profiles, and this site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies provide the search boxes. Information submitted there is governed by the provider's privacy policy, retention terms, and sharing rules rather than this policy. Review those terms before sending a query because we do not control the provider's processing.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Jefferson County Circuit Clerk, Arkansas courts, legal resources, or outside search services. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination's privacy policy governs. Review it before providing personal information.
Advertising companies may use their own technology to recognize activity across websites and select ads. That processing occurs on their systems.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be available to:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security practices are used for information under our control. No internet service can guarantee perfect protection, so a breach or unauthorized access can never be ruled out completely.
Users Under 18
This service is intended for adults, and personal information from a person under 18 is not knowingly collected. A verified report that a minor supplied such information will be addressed by deleting it.
Your Data Rights
Arkansas consumer-protection law and other law that applies where a user lives may provide additional data rights. Arkansas court-record access itself is governed by Administrative Order No. 19, while the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act, Ark. Code Ann. ยง25-19-101 et seq., does not override judicial restrictions. For visitor data under our control, a person can:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised as services or legal duties change. A new version becomes available here with its current effective date.
